When we get engaged, one of the first things we’ll start thinking about is where we’ll get married. Here are some things to consider as we start planning for the big day.
What’s The Dream?
When we start planning, we should ask ourselves what the dream wedding would look like. Would it be an intimate wedding with close family and friends or do we envision a large gathering with hundreds of people? Do we want it to be an elegant occasion or a romantic fantasy? The dream wedding can be a guide when we start planning the wedding venue.
Set the Date
One of the first considerations should be the date of the wedding. While we won’t be able to set the exact date until we can book the venue, we can get a rough idea of the time frame.

After deciding which city we’ll be married in, we’ll need to figure out how much money we have to spend on the wedding. Then we can determine how much will be spent on the wedding venue.

How Many People
When looking for a Sacramento wedding venue, we need to know how many people are going to attend the ceremony. Make a list of everyone we want to invite. Then, make a mark next to the names of people whose attendance is important to we and the partner.
When we locate a wedding venue we’re interested in, we need to know how many people it can hold. If that number is less than the number of people we marked as important on the list, then we should reconsider using that venue.
The venue we ultimately choose for the wedding will be one that is within the date range we set, falls within the budget limit, is in the right city and has space for the most important guests. But most importantly, the venue should fit into the vision of a dream wedding.
